The BD AlarisTM Pump Module is a large volume infusion pump that helps con- tinuously or intermittently deliver fluids, medications, blood and blood prod- ucts to adult, pediatric or neonatal patients. Clinicians can attach up to four IV infusion modules, allowing four independent infusions on a single PC unit. The pumps are also complete with the NYU Langone Health drug library.
The Heartstart FRx AED from Phillips is a state of the art defibrillator. This unique model is the only one on the market with an optional infant/child key, which you can use with adult pads for pediatric patients. The HeartStart FRx defibrillator includes advanced Life Guid- ance features to help guide the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. It can withstand rough handling, extreme temperatures, dust or wet conditions. With easy set-up, clear voice prompts, and rugged design, HeartStart FRx is designed for on-the-spot responders.
Pablo has worked in film production for 9 years, as well as a help desk technician for 4 years. During his time in film productions he worked on one of Hillary Clintons TV ads for her 2016 race where he met attorney General Eric Holder. Before joining NYSIM he worked for Laerdal traveling around the country maintaining, installing, and repairing simulators for over a year. On his free time he loves lis- tening to music and is an avid movies goer.
Dinora has been an EMT and Medical Assistant since 2011, and worked in several positions as such. She spent several years with Kingsborough Community College, CUNY and the Research Foundation as a Continuing Education Teacher and Program Assistant. She engaged with numerous programs to assist underprivileged youth to obtain essential job skills training through medical and other vocational programs. She recently worked as a Simulation Specialist at Long Island University’s, Interprofessional Simulation Center, where she assisted to imple- ment numerous new initiatives to improve simulation/student outcomes. When Dinora is not working she is an avid hiker and reader and enjoys many of the trails in the surrounding area.
This chest drain trainer allows for the practice of thoracostomy, thoracentesis, and needle decompression. It includes many anatomical landmarks, including manubriosternal joint, clavicles, ribs, pectoralis major and latissi-mus dorsi. The trainer is compatible with ultrasound with internal anatomy of diaphragmatic structures and col-lapsed lung. It is certified to be used with ATLS courses.
The Zoll R-Series Plus defibrillator is designed to improve outcomes of cardiac arrest by providing new features that will help to deliver the best possible CPR, defibrillation, and pacing treatments. This defibrillator offers live feedback on CPR quality, including rate, depth, and release. There is also a second ECG waveform displayed on the monitor that filters out any artifact from compressions. This allows the underlying rhythm to be visible during CPR and a reduction in pauses for rhythm analysis.

Nilendy Bueno received her Bachelors of Arts at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
Before joining NYSIM, Nilendy worked for the Office of Science and Research at NYU Langone Health as an Adminis-trative Assistant. She was also a 1st grade teacher for three years.
In the future, Nilendy hopes to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse. She has always had a special love for children and a passion for their education and well- being. Some of Nilendy’s hobbies include painting, traveling and photography.
