This 1-day NYSIM STO Course is the ideal immersive experience for all levels of simulation support staff, instructors, and faculty responsible for managing simulations at their own institutions or here at NYSIM. This is a HANDS-ON introductory course focusing on basic simulation technologies and operations. Logistically, it functions as a workshop where participants can explore and learn how to operate a variety of human patient simulators (manikins) and manage simulation technologies such as control computers, audio-visual equipment, and networking technologies. Participants will also learn how to systematically prepare a realistic simulation environment. Join us and gain the tools and confidence to support a high-quality simulation experience!
